Bristol Rovers manager Steve Evans has revealed that the club is close to completing two new signings, with Reiss-Alexander Russell-Denny set to join the team. The Gas have already signed nine players in the summer transfer window, including Richie Smallwood, Kofi Balmer, and Jack Aitchison. Evans confirmed that Russell-Denny will join the team after training with the squad for a couple of days, and is expected to make his debut against Peterborough in the Carabao Cup first round on Saturday. The manager also revealed that the second signing expected is a central midfielder, who is currently at The Quarters. Evans praised Russell-Denny's skills, saying that he is an exceptionally gifted boy who has been training with the squad.
