Bristol Rovers announced the signing of 18-year-old winger Philip Sanyaolu from Queens Park Rangers on a loan deal that will run until the end of the 2026-27 season. Sanyaolu, who has been part of QPR’s age-grade system since he was eight, has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Championship club.

"Philip is a young man full of pace, technique, and energy and is ready for the next stage of his development," said Rovers manager Steve Evans on the club website. The winger is the club’s 12th signing of the summer and will be available for the EFL Trophy game against Chelsea U21 scheduled for Tuesday.

Sanyaolu’s arrival adds depth to Rovers’ attacking options as they look to strengthen their squad for the remainder of the campaign. The loan move is expected to give the young player valuable first-team experience while providing Rovers with a dynamic winger for the coming fixtures.
